A 27-year old Chinese woman was caught with 4.2 kilos of shabu in Mactan Cebu International Airport last Tuesday.
That Chinese woman is being investigated by the Philippine Regional Office of Central Visayas (PRO-7) and her name is Liming Zhou and a stash of shabu worth P6 million was found inside her luggage.
Zhou said the the luggage was not her but belongs to the cousin of her Canadian lover..
"Pag Pilipino bitay kagad sila," a furious netizen wrote. "Ganti tayo bitayin narin sila". The Filipino-Chinese community in Cebu, on the other hand, fear that the increased emphasis on the arrest of Chinese nationals may due to the maritime dispute between China and the Philippines.
Chief Supt. Noli Talino head of PRO-7, said they are still looking for Zhou's accomplices
