Leni Robredo (Maria Leonor Robredo) is a Lawyer, social activist, and politician who is the 14th and current Vice President of the Philippines.
Robredo first came to public attention in 2012 after the death of her husband, Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo, in a plane crash off the coast of Masbate Island. Robredo was named the chairperson of the Liberal Party in Camarines Sur.
Robredo was sworn in as Vice President of the Philippines on June 30, 2016 at the Quezon City Reception House, of which Robredo uses as her office.
